April 18 - 30, 2022
From the organizers:
“Meet The Really Small Museum’s RSM(@reallysmallmuseum_atx ) April Artists in Residence and experience their closing works.
See Emma Hadzi Antich’s unveiling of an interactive art work entitled “Child of Renewal”, a work that explores the themes of renewal and regeneration and encourages participants to offer something broken at the art site. Broken dishes, glasses and cups will be incorporated into the art installation, thus giving each offering new life as the exhibition progresses. In this way, something small and imperfect takes on a bigger meaning as it is incorporated into a greater whole. (To contribute to the work please bring your offerings/contributions to 3509 Banton Rd. any time until April 30).
Puppeteer Heather Jarry created a site specific puppet show for the RSM’s 14th Corner Contemporary entitled “Ostara and the White Hare”. The show unfolded daily throughout the month of April in 26 scenes. Watch a film of the entire show, along with accompanying audio by Darrel Mayers, in a “movie house” temporarily erected on the Banton site.”
