December 29 - January 29, 2022
From Pencil on Paper Gallery:
“This new body of work deals with the myth of the ‘absentee Black father.’ Statistically, of all ethnic groups, Black fathers are the most present and most active in the day to day lives of their children.” – Jeremy Biggers Presence reinforces the narratives that are often lost in our world. Biggers presents viewers with an aesthetic exploration of the beautiful relationship between the Black father and child where gaze, color and form collide in the most brilliant ways.”
