Steamrolled VIII, “2020 VISION”

“PrintMatters Houston announces Steamrolled VIII, “2020 VISION,” a curated exhibiton of work created at, Rockin’ Rollin’ Prints 2021. The exhibition will be on view at The Printing Museum, 1324 W. Clay Street, Houston, Texas 77019, printingmuseum.org, from January 13th to March 5th, 2022. See The Printing Museum web site for hours and Covid precautions.

There will be a free, public opening on Thursday, January 13th, 6-8 pm. COVID-19 safety measures will be observed,

The 16 artists chosen are: Sally Worthington,Yannina Taboada, Evan Leigh Rottet, Kenny Lantz, Sean Adler, Jesus De La Garza, Leaman Green, Gloria Sanchez-Hart, Robert James, Jessica Snow, Eileen McClellan, William Pangburn, Katarina Guzman, Chayla De La Garza, Exquisite Corpse Crew, and Andis Applewhite. Each artist provided a carved 3 ft by 5 ft woodblock that was inked and printed live using a 2-ton steamroller as a printing press.

The exhibition, Steamrolled VIII, was curated by Brian Hodge, executive director of The Printing Museum.”
