From Foltz Fine Art:
“Every summer we look forward to bringing you a curated selection of some of our best secondary market works in our Summer Salon Exhibition. This year, the gallery is presenting 100 incredible works by Houston Founders: David Adickes, Jack Boynton, Bill Condon, Frank Dolejska, Henri Gadbois, Frank Freed, Dorothy Hood, Leila McConnell, Robert Morris, Charles Pebworth, Robert Preusser, Charles Schorre, Richard Stout, Dan R. Stewart, Stella Sullivan, and Dick Wray; and other Texas Modernists, such as Ben Culwell, Mary Frances Doyle, William Lester, Bill Reily, Emily Rutland, and McKie Trotter.
Also, on view is a selection of works by the late Dr. Robert Rogan from the artist’s estate. A noted modernist artist, Rogan was head of the Art Department at Lamar University in Beaumont from 1961 to 1990 when he retired, where he influenced generations of students. The works included range widely from his early, regionalist paintings to his midcentury cubist-inspired compositions and later works.”
