August 6 - September 17, 2021
From the Rockport Center for the Arts and K Space Contemporary:
“Postcards from Your Neighbor is a joint art exhibition between Rockport Center for the Arts and K Space Contemporary. Members of each organization were asked to create postcard-sized artworks, which were “sent” to the other institution for exhibition. Works by members of Rockport Center for the Arts will be on exhibit at K Space Contemporary in the Project Space, while works by members of K Space Contemporary will be exhibited at Rockport Center for the Arts. It is a great way to unite the sister art communities and share our creativity!
“Postcards from your Neighbor” opens at K Space Contemporary during ArtWalk on Friday, August 6, 5:30 to 9 pm, remaining on view through September 17.
The exhibition at Rockport Center for the Arts, featuring works by members of K Space Contemporary, will open Saturday, August 7 with the Rockport Art Loop from 5 – 7 pm, and remain on view through Sept. 4. The public is invited to attend both events.
“We are excited to partner with Rockport Center for the Arts on “Postcards From Your Neighbor.” Though our organizations are only about 35 miles apart, we each have our own following and member artists. We look forward meeting more artists and art lovers in the Rockport Art community, making new friends and forging new connections. Special thanks to the Rockport Center for the Arts for inviting us to collaborate on this project!” – Michelle Smythe, Director of K Space Contemporary
