From the gallery:
“Catherine Couturier Gallery is delighted to present Certain Clouds Go Somewhere, an exhibition of work by artist Marisa S. White. This exhibition will be White’s first show at the gallery.
The exhibition features Marisa S. White’s dream-like and surreal photographs. Private yet expressive, her work weaves together personal narrative through fantastical imagery. Each image tells a story with a sense of wonder. Often high above ground, White’s images offer new perspectives that blur reality and create opportunities to quietly ponder.
Raised in Houston, Marisa S. White now resides in Colorado. She received her BFA from the University of North Texas in 2000 and studied at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana. White has shown across the US as well as internationally, and her work has been featured on the cover Elan magazine and Octane.”
