An online event organized by the Oakwood Cemetery Chapel Museum in Austin.
From the organization:
“As part of our summer digital exhibition “To Vote” on Austin suffragists, author Angela Boswell will give a talk on her foundational book Women in Texas History.
The first chapter begins with Native American women who inhabited what we call Texas thousands of years ago. The last chapter profiles leaders including Barbara Jordan and Ann Richards. Join us for an author talk with Angela Boswell to gain insight into Texas’ rich history.
The book published by Texas A&M Press in 2018 is available online to order in hardback or as an ebook.
