June 12 - September 20, 2020
A group exhibition featuring works from the Amarillo Museum of Art’s permanent collection.
From the Museum:
“Artists have long been fascinated by the idea of home and often choose it as their subject matter. Explore the idea of home through artworks from AMoA’s Permanent Collection. Georgia O’Keeffe chose to paint the view out her window. Douglas Kent Hall captured the ‘magical’ light of the ancient Taos Pueblo. Russell Lee photographed the homes of everyday Americans during the Great Depression. The definition of home is as diverse as each of us, which is reflected in the paintings, photographs, prints and sculpture included in this exhibition.”
