January 13 - February 7, 2020
“My work is about purity, unity and connection. The pieces are very personal, reflecting the deep emotional and physical identity and struggle. They embody fragility and strength, mystery and clarity, oppression and empowerment. They are about relationships among the works themselves, between each of the materials I use, between the viewer and the work, and between the entire collection and the surrounding space. It creates a meditative atmosphere, encouraging the viewer to reflect on the hidden narratives and layered symbolism contained within each work.”
