Carolyn Sortor: common ground

“Common ground seeks to create a space for conversation about the hard and soft infrastructures that support and control our physical and virtual public squares, how they shape our individual and collective lives, and how we might come together to further our common interests and restore or re-create our public commons.

One work in the exhibition invites visitors to fill out a brief questionnaire, the results of which may give rise to further projects.  The artist will be present during certain hours to facilitate, but visitors may view the exhibition and submit a questionnaire even if she’s not there.  Her scheduled hours are:

Thursdays (except Thanksgiving)     5 – 8:30pm
Fridays + Saturdays  11am – 5pm”
