“A Ship of Human Skin:Film screening and conversation with writer/director Richard Bailey and cast members.
A Ship of Human Skin is a gothic story about mysticism and violent crime. Two women go into the fringe of rural culture to seek a revelation. They fall into a dark trap, and one must do something drastic in order to save her friend. By turns serious and surreal, this is a far-reaching film that concerns friendship, bad luck, and the feminine aspect of god.”
