“The installation RESURFACE.LETTERS consists of Houston-based Iranian-American artist Avisheh Mohsenin’s family letters, which were completely damaged by Hurricane Harvey together with her art studio, reprinted in large scale, hung in layers from the ceiling reflecting the drying process of years of creation and collection as the artist grappled with concepts of memory, photography, documentation and the acceptance of change and impermanence.”
Opening: August 10, 2019 | 7–9 pm
Closing: October 19, 2019 | 1–5 pm
