“New Monuments for New Cities features 25 artists selected by five industrial reuse projects in North American cities. Artists were asked to reflect on the role monuments have played in shaping cities in the past and how we might reimagine them in the future. Participating Central Texas artists are Nicole Awai, Daniela Cavazos Madrigal, Teruko Nimura with Rachel Alex Crist, Denise Prince, and Vincent Valdez.”
