December 13 - January 12, 2019
A show of paintings by artist Davey Eldridge. The artist on his work: “I want my paintings to have a visual presence for viewers. I see my paintings as objects. Watercolors are not often thought to have a density of surface, but with the addition of each layer, a surface density is developed. Motifs are applied in a material sediment on the surface. The surface of my work is often broken into grids (micro spaces). This structure helps to unify my paintings.”
