Join us to celebrate the release of "On Site: 50 Years of Public Art of the University of Houston System", a brand new publication about the Public Art UHS collection, with a fun-filled evening of stories about our history as told by Houston notables Floyd Newsum, Clint Willour and Nancy Hixon. Public Art’s very own Michael Guidry, curator, will lead the discussion and María C. Gaztambide, director, will deliver introductory remarks.

"On Site", published by Scala Arts & Heritage Publishers and designed by Pentagram, commemorates the 50th anniversary of Public Art of the University of Houston System. It features all new color photography and engaging essays by Alison de Lima Greene of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and María C. Gaztambide of Public Art UHS. It also highlights more than 40 of the collection’s notable public artworks accompanied by entries written by artists, scholars, curators and other members of the community.
