The Charles Adams Studio Project (CASP), a nonprofit organization in Lubbock that engages the public with the arts, has opened a call for 2025 exhibition proposals for its 5&J Gallery.
The 1,856-square-foot gallery is located next to CASP’s Metals Studio and Foundry and part of a larger arts complex that includes art spaces owned by CASP and the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (LHUCA). 5&J hosts 12 exhibitions a year that last 3-4 weeks each. Exhibition opening receptions will be held in conjunction with First Friday Art Trail, a monthly event that brings thousands of visitors to Lubbock galleries and art spaces.
Applications are open to both local and visiting artists and proposals for individual or group shows are welcomed. Interested applicants will submit their application form, two to six images of artworks to be shown, a CV, and a signed exhibition terms and conditions form via Dropbox. A Dropbox account is not required to use the link.
The deadline to apply is Friday, September 20 at 11:59 p.m. Applicants will be notified on Tuesday, October 1. Questions can be directed to [email protected].
