Set your DVR or make plans to watch the world television premiere of Art Car: The Movie. Co-directors Ford Gunter and Carlton Ahrens traveled across the country talking to artists and academics to determine why some individuals can’t help but decorate their cars, how that challenges societal norms, and why we should all listen to what they have to say. It also chronicles preparations for the 2010 Houston Art Car Parade.
Additionally, Orange Show Center for Visionary Art board member Don Mafrige, Jr. will be in studio talking to host Ernie Manouse about the organization as well the importance of the Houston Art Car Parade and giving away Parade VIPit tickets, T-shirts, and even an opportunity to ride in the parade this year to help along KHOU’s fund drive!
