Americans for the Arts Annual Convention Set for June in San Antonio

National arts advocacy organization Americans For the Arts has set its annual conference for June 8-10 in San Antonio. The 2012 conference will herd an estimated 1000 “arts professionals and community leaders” into the historic Pearl Brewery. Sideshows include two pre-conference conferences  on June 7-8: a Public Art Network pow-wow on -you guessed it- public art, and a career-building “Emerging Leaders” pre-conference, sponsored by American Express at the San Antonio Grand Hyatt where inspirational speakers “will help attendees discover the path from arts professional to community leader.”
