The world premier of Art Car: The Movie! happens this Sunday evening at the Miller Outdoor Theater, and it’s free!
The film, by Del Monte Films, follows a handful of artists as they prepare for the 2010 Houston Art Car Parade. It’s the big finale to the weekend-long Houston Cinema Arts Festival. Art cars go on display 5pm, accompanied by a performance by the band Thunderado. The film starts at 7:45pm, followed by a Q&A with directors Carlton Ahrens and Ford Gunter.
