Blaffer Blastoff Reports on the New Museum Renovation with Spoof

by Bill Davenport October 4, 2011

Harvard Trained Lead Architect Britta Bright, played by Blaffer Director Claudia Schmuckli, reviews her plans for a 45-story condo tower in downtown Dallas.

The latest post in Blaffer Blastoff, the Museum-on-hold’s renovation blog, designed to fill the dead air in their many social media outlets, is a comedy sketch. Rather than provide information on the (interesting, but possibly sensitive) real internal workings of their massive project, the Blaffer Art Museum’s blog  has created a fictional profile of a fictional team leading its real life renovation. Perhaps it’s a send up of the  recently opened WORKac: all cultural exhibition next door at the Hines College of Architecture?

WORKac: Architect Amale Andraos went to Harvard; Dan Wood got his MArch from Columbia
