Touring curator Bisi Silva will speak on “Contemporary Art and Shifting Curatorial Practices in a Transnational Age” on Monday, May 10, at 8pm at the Menil Collection. Silva, founder and director of the Center for Contemporary Art in Lagos, Nigeria, is the first effort of Independent Curators International’s new touring curator program and is making stops in Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Texas.
