Some OK art writers live in TX

by Bill Davenport December 16, 2009

The first twelve Oklahoma Art Writing and Curatorial Fellows have been chosen, and two of them are Texans! Scott Gleeson of Dallas and Alison Hearst  of Ft. worth will write under the mentorship of art world luminaries next year. The program, designed by independent curator Shannon Fitzgerald for The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition, in partnership with the University of Oklahoma School of Art and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, aims to encourage "new writing that is informed, articulate, inspired and engages audiences in contemporary art."
