Jim Roche: The Basic Rules

Before Jeff Koons and Matthew Barney, there was Jim Roche. Since his 1974 show at the Whitney, he's been steadily cranking it out. Described as "the artist as hippie dandy" and a "troublemaker," Roche will be exhibiting audio work, video work, and a brand new suite of drawings.

Sound Speed Marker: Teresa Hubbard / Alexander Birchler

Ballroom Marfa

Hubbard/Birchler are two Austin-based artists who collaborate in video, photography and sculpture. This exhibition consists of three films and associated photographs that explore film's relationship to place. This is also the world premiere of the Ballroom Marfa-commissioned Giant (2014), which documents the decaying set of the Reata mansion from the 1956  film.
