May 13 - June 17, 2017
A photo and text installation by Brooklyn artist Olivia Divecchia. About the exhibition (via The Reading Room): “The Dig/Site project explores digging as an action that is at once physical and metaphorical. In May 2015, Divecchia began digging holes with a shovel along beaches of the East Coast and documenting her actions. She meditates on the creation and destruction of meaning with textual references to Paul Celan, Anne Carson and Virgina Woolf.”
Opening: May 13, 2017 | 6–9 pm
Conversation with Olivia Divecchia & guest curator Temple Shipley at 6PM.
