What a crazy ride, the one that brought me to this show. The entire gallery was filled with amazing works. Upstairs, downstairs, and the teen art for the Lion’s Club were great.
“Mari Omori! That’s my professor!” My accomplice exclaimed as we walked up the stairwell to the upstairs gallery space.
“They have an exhibit upstairs, I think, that’s what this says.” I retorted.
Immediately after the affirmation, the two caught sight of each other: mentor and disciple reestablished previously frayed connections.
Winning a grand prize trip to Galveston for the food and wine fest and the chance happening upon an art opening, reestablished a meaningful connection between two artists.
Dope.
