This is the first meeting of  reading group: “artificial M.F.A.” The group will read and meet to discuss classic and recent texts on art’s potential to speak to social and political realities. The group’s home base will be The Reading Room, but will also meet at other venues exhibiting art works relevant to the readings. art as social wormhole is an incarnation of the OccuLibrary, organized by Carolyn Sortor and presented as part of the MAP 2013 exhibition.
