Laurie Anderson returns to Texas Performing Arts in performance with the Kronos Quartet. This, their first-ever collaboration, features a new evening-length work that combines their distinct yet highly compatible musical styles. Composed by Laurie Anderson and co-commissioned by Texas Performing Arts, Landfall offers a riveting interplay between text and music.
This performance is made possible by a generous grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation with additional support from the Dean of the College of Fine Arts and the Executive Vice President and Provost of The University of Texas at Austin and is presented in partnership with the Department of Art and Art History and the Visual Arts Center.
