Baroque masterpieces, including newly-conserved, never befor eseen mural-sized paintings by Antonio de Torres (1667-1731), part of a cycle depicting the childhood of Christ; two monumental canvases depicting scenes from the life of St. Francis of Assisi by Cristóbal de Villalpando (ca. 1649-1714); and eighty superb folk retablos from an important private collection in Dallas.
