In the Dreams of the Trees, water has enveloped most of the livable spaces and humans will have reached for the skies on airships built from materials available to them on the small half-submerged islands. Elko’s ‘Fish Bomb Boats’ are based upon marine iconography and symbolize the fragility of our existence.
