Pollard says that “Media consumption has influenced my ego and sense of self as much as ‘genuine life experience’. On some level, I can’t tell the difference between conflicts in the Middle East and a Burger King commercial. . . this project is an attempt to visually depict the more ethereal qualities of our psychological relationships with contemporary mass media.”
