October 1 - November 29, 2011
Lauster dissects the geographical micro-histories of the American South using fictional texts, maps, and popular images. Lauster’s subjective documentation probes the artifice of all historical narrative. He also serves as the Collections Manager of the fictional Samuel Gray Society, dedicated to 18th century American history.
