Founder of the FBI’s Art Crime Team Robert Wittman went deep undercover to infiltrate the dark world of international art thieves and black market traders, recovered hundreds of millions of dollars in stolen art, and wrote a book about it. He will lecture at UH and the MFAH on Sept. 8. Tickets for the public MFAH event are $10; Wittman will also deliver a free lecture to members of the UH community (with ID) at 9 a.m., in the university’s Rockwell Pavilion (second floor of the M.D. Anderson Library).
