August 13 - September 3, 2011
Neo-Dallas artists Eric Eley, John Frost, and Ryder Richards share “a similarity of refinement and intellectual consideration.” Eley, who teaches at Richland College, crafts quasi-architectural works that hover between object and mathematical abstraction. Frost’s wood sculptures of houses “present modular topographies as social reflection”. Richards’ gunpowder drawings are “designed with subliminal content and perceptual camouflage.”
