The first annual ArCH Film festival presents a featured film preceded by a collection of juried shorts by Rice and UH architecture students, not necessarily about architecture! Tonight it’s Regular or Super: Views on Mies van der Rohe. Did you know that Mies van der Rohe designed a gas station? The story of that gas station serves as the point of departure for REGULAR OR SUPER, which examines Mies’ entire body of work (more than 70 buildings) and a sparse style that reflects his motto that “less is more.” $10 general admission, free for ArCH Members.
