July 9 - August 13, 2011
Narrative drawings on tea-stained paper by first time Moody artist Lawrence Lee. The work follows the complex story of a kidnapped prince who is made the slave of a wealthy family: “an alternate universe populated with racial archetypes, icons and grotesques, as well as an ark’s-worth of animals, foreign, domestic and fantastic.”
