Inventor of the “family room,” the ball clock, and the storage wall, mid-century designer George Nelson’s retrospective traces the prolific writer, publicist, lecturer, exhibition curator and author’s career. Nelson was design director at the Herman Miller Furniture Company, which, coincidentally, is currently the subject of another mid-century design homage at the Austin Museum of Art!
