May 26 - September 3, 2011
In 2004, siblings Amy and David Niles gifted nine works of art to the University of Texas at El Paso. The works were given to the Niles’ late father, who was a doctor, by their creators, artists Leo Rabkin (1930-1998) and Allan D’Arcangelo , a NY pop artist best known for his depictions of traffic signs, as payment for services rendered. Curated by Stacy Schultz, assistant professor of art at UTEP and Karina Tovar, a senior studio art major.
