Warren creates landscapes that instead of idealizing the uncorrupted nature of Romanticism, focus on examine the anonymous of the modern city in which mobility, convenience, comfort and security are the most essential values. Warren takes banal city environments and transforms them into “cheerfully dissonant” that traffic in absurdity and non sequitors.
