Edward Eisenlohr: Painting Across the Texas Landscape consists of twenty-one paintings by the renowned early Texas landscape painter, Edward G. Eisenlohr (1872-1961). The works selected for this exhibition span from the artist’s early years at the turn of the 20th century and continue to works created toward the end of his life in 1961, which are borrowed from a private collection originating from a direct relative of Eisenlohrs. The exhibition examines Eisenlohr’s stylistic evolution through an exploration of the pastoral Texas landscape.
