During the early 1950s, Zindler (known as KTRK-TV’s flamboyant consumer affairs reporter) prowled the streets of Houston as a newspaper photographer covering the crime beat. Zindler caught crime suspects, robbery victims, socialites, wayward juveniles and domestic violence victims at their most vulnerable.
