Multicultural Education and Counseling through the Arts (MECA) celebrates the seventeenth-century feminist poet and playwright, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. The exhibition features works inspired by de la Cruz’s theological perspective that human beings are made up of “qualities of angel, plant, and beast”. Artists include Alma Soto, Lorena Alvarez, Yolanda Buccio, Ruth Sosa Bailey, Renee Rodriguez, Artista Elisabet, Melanie Kane, Diana Muniz, and Lilibeth Andre.
