Art Corridor II at Tarrant County College Southeast Campus presents Black Codes From the Underground. The exhibit takes its title from the Jazz musician Wynton Marsalis’ album of the same name. The black codes were laws enacted after the emancipation proclamation that continued segregation and racial injustice in most of the southern United States. These two artists Zoetina Veal and Adeniyi Olagunju explore issues of race and Identity in their works.
