October 16 - January 30, 2011
The Station Museum of Contemporary Art launches a major solo-exhibition A Thousand Tongues Burn and Sing by James Drake. Through videos, drawings, sculptures, poetry, and installations, Drake takes us on a journey across the harsh desert of self-reflection and political and social unrest. His massive installation of the Trophy Room that is made of steel is not to missed along with his Exit Juarez series that addresses concern over the hardships and violence in the border towns of El Paso and Juarez.
