Michael Mogavero’s Four Letter Words, a series of eight oil paintings, are on display in The Courtyard Gallery beginning September 9. Katie Geha, who runs SOFA Apartment Gallery, says- “Encountering the works in Michael Mogavero’s exhibition Four Letter Words might be what it feels like to see a pop song, rather than hear one”. The Courtyard Gallery features the artwork of faculty and alumni of the Department of Art and Art History in the College of Fine Arts and Mogavero is a professor of painting at The University of Texas at Austin.
