One of America’s most critically acclaimed writers, Cormac McCarthy is the author of some of the finest novels of our time, including All the Pretty Horses, Blood Meridian, No Country for Old Men, and The Road, for which he won the Pulitzer Prize in 2007. CORMAC McCARTHY: Selections from the Permanent Collection features McCarthy’s literary papers and related materials which are held at Texas State University’s Wittliff Collections. This is the first large-scale public exhibition showcasing the notes, handwritten and typed drafts, unpublished pieces, correspondence, and other items that lend insight into McCarthy’s career and writing process!
