The City of El Paso’s Museums and Cultural Affairs Department in partnership with the El Paso Community Foundation hosts the third annual Chalk-the-Block Public Art Festival October 8-10 in Downtown El Paso’s Arts Festival Plaza. The event showcases artists using chalk to create works of art plus a large-scale mechanical sculpture by artist Christian Ristow and hydraulic-kenetic sculpture by Christina Sporrong. Headlining musical talent includes Japanese Action Comic Punk Band, Peelander-Z, performing at 8:00 pm on Saturday. Admission is FREE!
