Andrea Dezsö’s obsession with space travel takes us on a journey into a lunar world. Dezsö, Transylvania-born artist, writer, and illustrator, transforms the Rice Art Gallery’s front glass wall into a miniature world of depth and detail that becomes life-size with series of small “cut-out” windows. Her installation Sometimes in My Dreams I Fly, expands on the technique she uses to create her "tunnel books" that are inspired by her childhood in Romania and past thirteen years in New York.
