In honor of Historic Preservation Month, this exhibition presents the history of Trabajo Rustico, the centuries-old tradition of producing cement sculptures and architectural elements that mimic the natural world. This exhibition is sponsored by the Department of Art and Art History at UTSA, the SA Conservation Society, The Southwest School of Art & Craft, the SA Public Library Foundation, the SA Office of Cultural Affairs, Alamo Cement Company and Hound & Hare Press.
