July 12 - August 16, 2008
Longtime gallery artist Robert Jessup, a painting professor at UNT, selected this show for ArtHouston 2008. Jessup picked work by two graduate students, and although their art couldn’t be more different (recent grad Pinkston creates charcoal drawings and wall sculptures of blown tires and other refuse, while Williams paints Hopperesque works that look like scenes out of a Cohen brothers’ movie), they’re great examples of the talent coming out of the UNT art program.
