Summoned: cast metal sculpture by artists of the Texas Atomic Iron Commission

Founded in 2007, the Texas Atomic Iron Commission is a collaborative organization that brings together universities, industry, students and artists. The commission provides members with opportunities with networking, exhibitions, pouring cast iron sculpture and the exchange of ideas. Participating institutions include Baylor University, Keen Foundry, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Texas Woman’s University, The University of Dallas and others.

The Beeville Art Museum hosts a solo exhibition of works by landscape artist Sylvia Benitez, an East Coast native now living and working in Seguin, Texas. The exhibition will feature paintings, that according to the artist, are “inspired by the light, color and feel of the South Texas landscape.”
Within the Emperor's Garden: The Ten Thousand Springs Pavilion

A model pavilion made by Chinese artisans that demonstrates traditional Chinese carving and fine furniture techniques. No nails were used to build this model of The Ten Thousand Springs Pavilion (Wan Chun Ting), a celebrated example of classic Chinese architecture, which still stands in the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. It was built in about 1420 and rebuilt in 1533.
